Location Portrait Sessions: For Engagement, Fashion/Glamour, Graduation and Family

Package 1 ($ 300.) A location photo session of 1 to 1.5 hours. From the original first set of photographs you select 6 - 4x6's to keep. A CD with 6 of the original high resolution digital files that match the photographs you choose is also included. From the CD you can make your own photographs ( 5x7's, 8x10's... ) at your own photo lab, email your photos or print them out on your own home computer/printer. Retouching and graphic enhancements in Photoshop (if needed) are additional and will be quoted at the time of your order.

I never tire of looking at the photograph below. This woman has the most incredibly beautiful eyes. Picasso would have loved the photograph. He made several paintings with a woman's eye central to the design.

I worked a 2 hour session with this client and every shot was amazing. I brought one of my hand painted canvas backdrops on location and hung it over lightstands...in this instance on the back porch. The canvas is in color but photographs beautifully in black and white. For any shuttergeeks out there, I shot with a Hasselblad and 120mm lens using T MAX 100 film developed in Rodinal 1:4. I hand printed the original photograph on Seagull #3 in Dektol 1:1. The enlarger is a Beseler 4x5 fitted with a Schneider Componon 135mm lens. The original print has that incredible glow you can only get with gelatin silver paper. There is a real sense of three dimensional space between her and the canvas. The print is magical!

Ann Marie was a professional model in Orange County. She is a friend and we worked together often when I was an advertising and fashion photographer in Southern California. This shot was used on a promotional card sent out to advertising agencies from Malibu to San Diego with beach and swimwear accounts. Ocean Pacific Swimwear in Newport Beach liked the shot and sent me out on some amazing assignments.

Enthusiasm is a beautiful thing in a photo shoot. I described an idea to my client about shooting at a historical site in Seal Beach. She got really excited and borrowed several vintage dresses to use for the shoot. My favorite shots were of her in this prom dress. We got the retro look we were after and she looked gorgeous!
