Chasing Cool, Huntington Beach
The image above is the cover of my new book. After two years shooting in Huntington Beach, I will finish early this summer when the layout of photographs for the book begins. I have covered most of the lifestyles within the city but plan to include another 12 photographs concentrating on surf culture which has set the tone and identity of the city for many years. Publication is scheduled for late summer 2019. If you are a surfer and would like to be included in the book email

Sudden Artistic Output
I found this artist's statement in the window of a studio in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Unfortunately the studio was closed so I was unable to meet the artist or view his work. But the little I could see from street level looked very interesting. #LosAngelesPhotography #ArtisticPhotographer #StreetPhotography #FineArtPhotography

Old Pickup Truck
I love little baby ducks, old pick-up trucks, slow-moving trains, and rain.
I love little country streams, sleep without dreams, Sunday school in May,
And hay. Lyrics: Tom T Hall #FineArtPhotographyLosAngeles #SouthernCalifornia #PersonalDocumentary #Fineartphotography

It should have been signed, yes? It's in the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Spain. #LosAngelesPhotography #FineArtPhotography #SouthernCalifonia #Bilbao #Spain

Looking down I noticed that the price had been reduced. That really got me thinking especially now with a changing of the guard to take place in a few days. I wondered if this c

The Power of the People
On my third cup of coffee this morning (to get going on this first day of 2017), I thought it would be a good time to post my photograph made inside Gaudi's famous masterwork-in-progress... La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. I stood in this incredible place taking in the light and the colors and began to think about what the guide said on the way over. Gaudi spent most of his life as an architect and artist working on this cathedral and died way before its completion. It
