The image above is the cover of my new book. After two years shooting in Huntington Beach, I will finish early this summer when the layout of photographs for the book begins. I have covered most of the lifestyles within the city but plan to include another 12 photographs concentrating on surf culture which has set the tone and identity of the city for many years. So on a good day the sky is blue with a few clouds scattered around to break up the monotony but on this day I looked up to see a sky I had never seen before, really, never... it was an incredible baby blue. Amazing Light
The Riviera Maya in Mexico is a beautiful place. The weather and light always seem to be on the move. The sky can be cloudless one minute and the next you might see dark clouds on the horizon leaving only a couple of minutes to take cover before the rain hits.
