Best Men's Room Ever
Without a doubt, this is the most artistic men's room that I have ever visited in my life. Spain has a long history in the arts of every kind but I did not expect art in this context. It should have been signed, yes? It's in the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Spain. #LosAngelesPhotography #FineArtPhotography #SouthernCalifonia #Bilbao #Spain

Reduced for Quick Sale
From a block away I spotted the old red, white and blue through the crowds in downtown Long Beach, California. Now I'm as patriotic as most Americans and I did serve for four years so it annoyed me to see our flag displayed this way, you know... in a bucket. So I moved in to check it out more closely. Looking down I noticed that the price had been reduced. That really got me thinking especially now with a changing of the guard to take place in a few days. I wondered if this c

Guggenheim, Bilbao, Spain
I have always had a great interest in modern architecture and worked with some very good architects photographing their creations for brochures, advertisements and catalogs. Frank Gehry (a Los Angeles guy) is one of the great ones of our time, but unfortunately I never had the pleasure of working with him. As I approached to take a photograph he stopped and sat down. He had a badly damaged right eye and part of his

Promising Photographer?
When you're out shooting on the street you just never know what you'll find, if anything. I had walked about five miles when I came across these girls. I grabbed the shot as fast as I could knowing my presence alone would change things instantly. And it did. They spotted my camera and asked if I was a professional photographer. I thought they would ask me to take a shot of all three of them with their camera but it turned out that the young woman with the camera was working o

Baby Blue
So on a good day the sky is blue with a few clouds scattered around to break up the monotony but on this day I looked up to see a sky I had never seen before, really, never... it was an incredible baby blue. Since it triggered an emotion I took a few shots. Looking at it now as I'm typing this post I still think it's surreal. It's been on my website for awhile and I wanted to put it in my blog but couldn't really come up with anything to write that would explain the emotion I
