So on a good day the sky is blue with a few clouds scattered around to break up the monotony but on this day I looked up to see a sky I had never seen before, really, never... it was an incredible baby blue. Since it triggered an emotion I took a few shots. Looking at it now as I'm typing this post I still think it's surreal. It's been on my website for awhile and I wanted to put it in my blog but couldn't really come up with anything to write that would explain the emotion I felt that day. Fortunately, I just found a few lines from a very talented writer that pretty much does the job.
"For many years, I have been moved by the blue at the far edge of what can be seen, that color of horizons, of remote mountain ranges, of anything far away. The color of that distance is the color of an emotion, the color of solitude and of desire, the color of there seen from here, the color of where you are not. And the color of where you can never go.” — Rebecca Solnit
